In a powerful moment of unity and pride, members of the Grand Gedeh community both at home and abroad are celebrating the exceptional leadership of the Grand Gedeh Association in the Americas (GGAA), as National President Madam Edith T. Poah and National Vice President Hon. Isaac Nyenaweh continue to make impactful strides on behalf of the county.
The duo recently traveled to Grand Gedeh County, Republic of Liberia, to attend the historic joint homegoing ceremonies of former President Samuel K. Doe and former First Lady Nancy B. Doe. Their presence and participation have been met with widespread admiration and emotional praise from citizens and stakeholders alike.
Messages from the community reflect the immense pride felt across the diaspora. “Never doubted her leadership pedigree. Power to this outstanding God-fearing and intelligent leader!” wrote one community member. Another added, “I really appreciate the attendance of our GGAA officials from the USA… this representation at such a significant moment speaks volumes.”
Many have described the leadership style of Madam Poah and Hon. Nyenaweh as presidential, collaborative, and deeply connected to the needs and sentiments of the people. Their commitment to standing with the people of Grand Gedeh, especially in moments of historical and emotional significance, is being recognized as a defining chapter in GGAA’s legacy
